I stayed in a Beautiful Double Room for 5 nights. The bed was super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud! The decor was nice too, very modern but cozy. I loved the heated bathroom floors-such a nice touch for colder days. One downside was the flickering bedside lamp, a bit annoying at night. But overall, it was a nice space to relax after exploring Oslo.

Location
5-star? Not possible. No bell-boy. Had to carry luggage in the rain by ourselves. Tiny, tiny lobby and we thought the receiption was actually the Concierge desk, but it was the receiption! Theathercoffee shop was closed for renovation. No information received that this was the case. Reception staff didnt explain hotels facilities, which the hotel actually do not have any of anyhow!, didnt ask if we wanted to make dinner or breakfast reservations, room (we stayed in deluxe)was anything than deluxe! Not even a toothbrush, no tea/coffemaking facilities, even found a toenail in the bed!, from previous guest? Does it mean they havent change bedsheet! We paid over EUR 200.00 for this room without breakfast since we thought we would get a 5-star accomodation and treatment. We got a 3-star, overpriced, bad service experience instead.Stay away from this hotel and book anything else to avoid what we had to go through.

The breakfast buffet had a great variety, especially the apple cake.
The flickering bedside lamp was quite distracting during the night.

Really enjoyed how the deluxe queen room in a classical-modern style was arranged when we arrived. A safe box, multi-channel television and a mini-fridge-bar were available here. The hotel had a very central location and it was 4-6...

The highs and the lows
The staff go above and beyond were good, while the lavish breakfast offerings are both plentiful and exquisite.
Unfortunately, noise from the bar area creates a disruptive environment that mars sleep quality and comfort.

We had the superior queen room and it was well-designed and heated with breakfast included-good value. The location was great - ease of access to Chat Noir.

Perfect hip new hotel in marvellous location close to everything you want to see. Very impressed with superior queen room with comfortable bed.

missingWrote a review on 31 Octdistracting light
Some lights in the room, including a flickering bedside lamp, were quite distracting during the night, not ideal for trying to catch some Z's. The bed itself felt overly soft for my taste, and sharing two single duvets on a double bed might confuse anyone looking for a more traditional setup. Lastly, the fitness center, though maintained well, felt slightly cramped with limited equipment options, which might frustrate those enthusiastic about their workouts.

Traditional hotel, very comfortable with excellent customer service and great food. The location is probably the best in Oslo, right in the centre and very close to all public transport.
